BaldCare AI hecht grote waarde aan jouw privacy. Dit beleid legt uit welke gegevens de app verwerkt, hoe daarmee wordt omgegaan en welke rechten je hebt.

De profielgegevens die je invult, zoals hoofdhuidtype, gevoeligheid, scheermethode en aandachtspunten, worden uitsluitend lokaal op je toestel opgeslagen via de beveiligde opslag van iOS. Deze gegevens verlaten je toestel niet en worden niet gedeeld met derden.

Een profielfoto die je uploadt wordt lokaal opgeslagen op je toestel. De foto wordt niet verstuurd naar externe servers.

Als je gebruikmaakt van de voortgangsfoto's-functie, worden deze foto's uitsluitend lokaal op je toestel opgeslagen, net als je profielfoto. Ze worden nooit automatisch naar een server verstuurd. Je kunt voortgangsfoto's op elk moment bekijken, vergelijken of verwijderen, inclusief het in één keer verwijderen van meerdere foto's.

BaldCare AI vraagt toegang tot je camera en fotobibliotheek voor de hoofdhuid-analyse, het instellen van een profielfoto en het toevoegen van voortgangsfoto's. Deze toegang wordt alleen gebruikt op het moment dat jij dat aanvraagt. Foto's worden lokaal verwerkt en niet gedeeld.

Je e-mailadres en wachtwoord worden lokaal opgeslagen op je toestel. Er is geen externe accountserver. Bij het verwijderen van je account worden alle gegevens gewist.

Als je meldingen inschakelt, worden deze lokaal op je toestel gepland via het iOS-notificatiesysteem. Er worden geen persoonsgegevens naar een server gestuurd om dit mogelijk te maken.

Als je feedback deelt via Instellingen, opent de app je eigen e-mailapp met je beoordeling en opmerkingen vooraf ingevuld. Deze gegevens worden verstuurd vanaf jouw eigen e-mailaccount naar support@baldcareai.com. BaldCare AI verzamelt of bewaart deze feedback niet op een server — je behoudt zelf de controle over het versturen.

BaldCare AI biedt een Premium-abonnement via Apple's App Store. Betalingen worden volledig verwerkt door Apple. BaldCare AI heeft geen toegang tot jouw betaalgegevens. Je kunt je abonnement op elk moment beheren of opzeggen via Instellingen → Abonnement, wat je doorverwijst naar Apple's ingebouwde beheerscherm.

De app bevat links naar externe websites en webwinkels zoals Bol.com, Amazon.nl, Africa Products en Kruidvat, en naar YouTube-video's. Zodra je deze links opent, verlaat je de app en gelden de privacyvoorwaarden van de betreffende partij. BaldCare AI is niet verantwoordelijk voor de inhoud of het privacybeleid van externe websites.

BaldCare AI gebruikt geen externe analyticstools en plaatst geen tracking-cookies. Er worden geen gegevens verkocht aan adverteerders.

Alle gegevens worden lokaal opgeslagen op je toestel en zijn beveiligd door de ingebouwde beveiliging van iOS. We raden aan je toestel te beveiligen met een toegangscode of biometrie.

Je kunt op elk moment alle opgeslagen gegevens verwijderen via Instellingen → Account → Account verwijderen. Voortgangsfoto's kun je afzonderlijk of in groep verwijderen via de voortgangsfoto's-galerij. Hiermee worden alle lokale gegevens gewist.

Dit privacybeleid kan worden bijgewerkt wanneer de app nieuwe functies krijgt. De meest actuele versie is altijd beschikbaar in de app onder Instellingen → Over → Privacybeleid.

The profile information you enter, including scalp type, sensitivity, shaving method and areas of concern, is stored exclusively on your device using iOS's secure local storage. This data does not leave your device and is not shared with third parties.

A profile photo you upload is stored locally on your device. The photo is not sent to external servers.

If you use the progress photos feature, these photos are stored exclusively on your device, just like your profile photo. They are never automatically sent to a server. You can view, compare or delete progress photos at any time, including deleting multiple photos at once.

BaldCare AI requests access to your camera and photo library for scalp analysis, setting a profile photo, and adding progress photos. This access is only used when you request it. Photos are processed locally and not shared.

Your email address and password are stored locally on your device. There is no external account server. When you delete your account, all data is erased.

If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device via iOS's notification system. No personal data is sent to a server to make this possible.

If you share feedback via Settings, the app opens your own email app with your rating and comments pre-filled. This information is sent from your own email account to support@baldcareai.com. BaldCare AI does not collect or store this feedback on any server — you remain in control of sending it.

BaldCare AI offers a Premium subscription through Apple's App Store. Payments are processed entirely by Apple. BaldCare AI does not have access to your payment details. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Subscription, which takes you to Apple's built-in management screen.

The app contains links to external websites and shops such as Bol.com, Amazon.nl, Africa Products, and Kruidvat, and to YouTube videos. When you open these links, you leave the app and the privacy policy of the respective party applies. BaldCare AI is not responsible for the content or privacy policy of external websites.

BaldCare AI does not use external analytics tools and does not place tracking cookies. No data is sold to advertisers.

All data is stored locally on your device and protected by iOS's built-in security. We recommend securing your device with a passcode or biometrics.

You can delete all stored data at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account. Progress photos can be deleted individually or in bulk via the progress photos gallery. This erases all local data.

This privacy policy may be updated when the app receives new features. The most current version is always available in the app under Settings → About → Privacy Policy.
